Today in Brussels, Belgium, a new warning was issued by an international global warming conference. New warnings issued included further extinction of species, and increased world hunger (especially in Africa and Asia).
Scientists warn that for every 1.8 degrees Fahrenheit that the Earths temperature rises, the more devastating the effects on a global whole.
Stephen Schneider, who is a scientist from Stanford, has this to say: "We can fix this, by investing a small part of the world’s economic growth rate. It’s trillions of dollars, but it’s a very trivial thing.”
